SOBAM Dean's Excellence in Research Award Nomination Form

A nominee for the Dean's Excellence in Research Award must have demonstrated research achievements that can be described as a significant contribution to their subject, profession, or to knowledge in general while employed at SUNY Brockport. Achievements prior to employment at SUNY Brockport will not be counted.

1. Please detail why you are nominating this person (max 250 words). For example, please list research achievements such as presentations, publications (including peer-reviewed journals, conference proceeding, book chapters and commentarial articles) and research awards/grants that the nominee has achieved in the past five years.
2. Please describe, in a way that a non-subject specialist would understand, why you consider the research achievements of the nominee to be significant and worthy of recognition (max 250 words). For example, you can support your nomination by providing number of citations for published papers, journal ranks in reputable ranking systems, journal's H index, and/or journal impact factor.
