Choose from the MENU of workshops/trainings offered by the ASC. These workshops can be presented in a department meeting or to any group on campus. Each workshop is approximately 15-20 minutes each. Academic Success Center 101

The Academic Success Center (ASC) is a one stop shop for student support. From Advisement and Tutoring to Student Accessibility Services, the ASC provides academic advisement and developmental programming for all undergraduate students to strengthen and improve their academic, social, personal, and career development. This workshop provides an overview of the services available to students, faculty, and staff alike.
Advising Forms, Policies & Practices 101

This advisement workshop provides an overview of need-to-know policies, procedures, and forms, including EagleSuccess. It covers areas such as major/minor declaration, general advisement handbook, temporary academic leave, basic registration and registration barriers, and advising specific populations.
Advising Undeclared Students

Unsure how to advise students who are undeclared or considering changing majors? This workshop will share resources and tips for advising students on this topic as well as resources to share with your advisees.
Academic Probation & Satisfactory Academic Progress Compliance

Brief overview of the Academic Standing policy and probation processes. A look at how Satisfactory Academic Progress can affect students aid and the guidelines students must follow.
DegreeWorks 101 & Advising First Semester Freshman

This presentation is for the advisor looking to learn all the "ins and outs" of degree works. Also, for APS instructors as advisors of first semester students.
