This form is for matriculated Brockport students only. If you are a New York State citizen 60 years of age or older and would like to audit a course, please contact Jason Dauenhauer at jdauenha@brockport.edu

  • Please read

Registering to audit a course is the only way a person who is not receiving credit would be allowed to regularly attend and participate in the class. By signing the auditing agreement, the auditor accepts the conditions of the auditing policy and is aware that credit is not earned for the course on the basis of attendance or from work done during the semester of the auditing agreement. Audited courses do not count toward credit load limits for registered students. The auditor can make no claim for being retroactively registered for the audited course at a later date. Those who audit courses are subject to the Codes of Student Social Conduct, College policy on disruptive behavior, and the policy on academic dishonesty.

Persons are allowed to audit ONE course per SPRING, SUMMER or FALL semester (winter is excluded.) Official registration for the course automatically voids any auditing agreement for that semester. Students are not permitted to obtain "credit by examination" for previously audited courses. Students are not required to register as auditors for courses carrying grades "I" or "PR".
