Instructor Information
This agreement pertains to the voluntary participation of faculty members in the adoption of Open Educational Resources (OER). OER is defined as resources that are openly licensed and follow the 5Rs: the ability to Retain, Reuse, Revise, Remix, and Redistribute the content for educational purposes.
Faculty requirements include:
1. completion of an OER consultation with a Drake librarian;
2. conversion of an existing course to OER, or the creation of a new OER course;
3. submission of a revised syllabus.
Details:
- This program is for first-time course development, review and verification of an existing OER course, or conversion of an existing course to OER.
- This opportunity is open to all full and part-time faculty.
